:: newsflash :: site updates and other babble ::   :: 9.4.2006 :: Greetings from Lapland :: Last week's been fun. Travelled up North with a bunch of friends to have a skiing vacation in Ylläs. Here's the mandatory posing picture of me with a board. Don't know why, but somehow I came over to visit my own website. Things look like they're in a need of complete overhaul over here. Perhaps I'll get this time also the music page up and running. :) Oh well, at least I found some time to update my Curriculum Vitae. Cheers!   :: 22.6.2005 :: Summer update :: It's been a while. Not much happening recently, I've been trying to catch up with my lagging studies at the University of Helsinki and managed to reach the nearly magical limit of one hundred credits units (it takes 160 cu's to Masters degree over here - not terribly far far away anymore). Our company Mr.Goodliving got acquired also recently by RealNetworks and I'm now officially a Sound Designer in our European based studio. However, in the demoscene department there's some news: I joined the group Farbrausch and if you happen to own a pair of anaglyphic red/blue 3d glasses, I'd recommend to check out our latest 64kb intro FR-044: Patient Zero, which comes in full anaglyphic 3d flavour. But be warned: without the glasses it's not much of an experience.   :: 3.10.2004 :: Around the world :: Yes, Alkama, I'm still here. Some real updates will arrive at some point, but for now you can just take a look at the photos from my trip to Botswana and Zambia during the past month. Dumela!   :: 30.3.2004 :: Back in Finland :: I spent the last three weeks in the Northern America, at Hawaii and San Francisco, California. A gallery of the travel photos can be found here. I'd recommend to check out the co-op intro by Farbrausch and Haujobb: Time Index. I also added a new sub-section called "misc" where you can find now the demos done for other groups. I'm currently working on to put up online again all my music releases, but it turned out to be a bigger task than I thought. Hopefully I get all that sorted out before next summer.   :: 18.9.2003 :: Ars Electronica :: I spent the last week in Linz, Austria at a festival of digital arts - Ars Electronica 2003. We had a small team representing the demoscene over there as a part of the Electrolobby area.
